Erik Dickes brings over 28 years of hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. Throughout his career, he's worn many hats—starting as a plumber, then stepping into a plumbing inspector role with the City of Omaha for 7 years. Erik additionally spent 5 years working in Sewer Maintenance with the City of Omaha before transitioning into stormwater design, where he continues to make an impact for the past 4 years.
Outside of his professional life, Erik is a proud father of three children, balancing his career with family life. His dedication to both his work and family speaks to his strong values and work ethic.
Erik Dickes’ journey in the plumbing trade was deeply influenced by his father, Richard "Dick" Dickes, who dedicated 34 years of his life to the craft. As Erik was graduating from high school, Dick encouraged him to follow in his footsteps, and the two began working side by side on numerous projects. These years spent together not only strengthened their professional bond but also deepened their father-son relationship, turning it into something far beyond just family—it was a partnership built on trust, respect, and shared experiences.
Sadly, Dick lost his battle with renal cancer on September 30, 2019. Dick's influence remains a guiding force in Erik's career
